Duties / core tasks
Resolve line stoppages using company resources and initiative by means of received tasks and own insight, to ensure correct operation of machinery. Any work carried out must comply with health and safety legislation. Lock off procedures to be followed at all times to ensure safety of self and others on site. Carry out corrective maintenance activities when an unsafe situation arises.

Read and work from circuit diagrams.
To support mechanical engineers as required.
To maintain / repair specialist optical sorting machines...

Ambitions Personnel is currently working on behalf of their client to recruit a Manufacturing Technician on a temporary to permanent basis. Duties will include:
Assembly of mainstream products.
Assembling a wide range of sensors, instruments and sub-assemblies.
Soldering and wiring (this will include electro-mechanical assembly) and some fault finding must be carried out to a high standard.
Working to a prioritised daily schedule
Booking jobs in and using an internal database correctly.

Previous relevant soldering and electro-mechanical experience in a busy working environment would be preferable. ...
