The basic role will involve:

Contacting regular advertisers and discussing their potential advertising budgets

Reasearhcing for potential new customers

Selling advertising concepts, such as inserts, e-shots, news letters, and competition ideas, not just white space

Making contact with new or lapsed clients and supplying detailed proposals for selling media space

Working with the editorial team planning adverts and coming up with feature ideas

Account Managing customers issues and problem solving

Working to very tight and strict deadlines wihtin the office
