Print Finishers

Our client is currently seeking four Print Finishers for both day and night shifts.

Qualifications

Must be literate and numerate in order to be able to understand the instructions for each job but qualifications not essential
Must be computer literate to be able to operate computer applications in order to carry out their daily work. Skills

Fast and accurate print finisher
Main ability to operate the guillotines, perfect binding machines, saddle stitching lines, automatic laminating lines, creasing machines, folding machines
Ability to programme the machines Experience

Prepress Operator

Busy Printers requires an experienced prepress Apple Mac operator for planning up brochures and flatwork. Applicants will also be required to run plates from a CTP machine and do proofs for customers.

Skills Required

Proficient Adobe Indesign
Proficient Adobe Photoshop
Proficient Adobe Illustrator
Proficient in Impositions (Planning of booklets and brochures)
Not essential but preferred knowledge of Kodak Prinergy
Ability to work unsupervised

Experience

Must have experience in the pre press department
Experience in printing essential (minimum 2 years)
