Applicants must have experience in Machining, Honing, Turning, Milling and Grinding.

Assystem are currently representing the UK's largest car manufacturer in their pursuit for skilled Development Engineers to work at their Centre of Excellence in East Midlands. We are looking for Automotive Engineers with experience gained in Seating / Interior or Chassis Engineering at a Design, Test or Project level.

The successful candidates will work within the Chassis or Seating/Interior teams of the Vehicle Engineering department and be responsible for the prioritising concern resolution and prevention for current, future and past vehicles.

Ideally Studer S31 Experience

Fully competent and experience within various grinding techniques including Cylindrical and Creep feed
Must have experience on Universal Grinders

Ability to set, operate and program

Excellent Problem Solver with the Ability to select / recommend correct grinding wheels for appropriate job / materials
Ability to trouble shoot common grinding problems and recommend solutions
Set up and run CMM checking programmes
Work to tight tolerances / customer standards imperial / metric...
