Assystem are currently representing the UK's largest car manufacturer in their pursuit for skilled Development Engineers to work at their Centre of Excellence in East Midlands. We are looking for Automotive Engineers with experience gained in Seating / Interior or Chassis Engineering at a Design, Test or Project level.

The successful candidates will work within the Chassis or Seating/Interior teams of the Vehicle Engineering department and be responsible for the prioritising concern resolution and prevention for current, future and past vehicles.

Basic Function

To provide assistance in the coordination of business projects and the development and implementation of processes to launch new products

Key Responsibilities:-

Assist with and co-ordinate business projects.
Develop and implement processes to launch new products.
Assist with introduction of procedures, which ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and practice when required.
Assist with cost and process estimation for new products.

We are currently looking for 3x Planners and 3x safety advisors with Offshore experience and a Strong engineering/marine background.

This project is due to commence on 14th may 2012 and completion is expected for the end of June 2012.

This position will be based Offshore from Belfast.

Rates are negotiable depending on experience

3 x Planners:

-Must have previous experience as a planner in the offshore, engineering and marine backgrounds.
