Role Overview

The role is the first point of contact for all line managers regarding employee relations queries including performance management, policy and procedure and absence management.

Responsible for providing commercial and comprehensive advice and liaising with managers to ensure they are resolved appropriately and in-line with Company policy and procedure and legislation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

It is not just the food that is outstanding at this country inn near at Chinnor. As chef de partie tou will enjoy a package worth around £21.5k. That comprises salary at £16/17k, tips around £1,800 per annum and free accommodation ( you only pay the utilities ).

There are many sous chefs who do not eran much more than that. For a chef de partie it is even towards the top end of London or city salaries.

There are 50 covers served by a brigade of 6 chefs. Shifts are as required depending upon the season but you will always have Sunday dinner and Monday off, adding a little stability to your social life.

Junior sous or chef de partie pastry, to join a small, exquisite, 4 Red Star hotel to replace internally promoted chefs.

Preferably the succesful pastry chef will already have 3AAR experience but 2AAR applicants with a desire to work with the best will also be considered.

The Head chef was 3 Michelin Star trained and has held 3AA Rosettes for many, many years and as Pastry Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef pastry you will work alongside another pastry chef at the same level ensuring that you are not swamped with things to do and you can concentrate on honing your skills in the best possible environment.

Salary for a chef...

This is a temporary position.

The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of various bread products and sandwich fillings and a good understanding of food handling /hygiene and health and safety.

The successful applicant must be well presented with a can do attitude, and be methodical in their approach.

The ability to work under pressure and multi task is essential.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions is required.
