The Engineer's role is to carry out maintenance and repairs to a range of pumps and other climate control equipment, with the objective of maximising equipment safety, reliability, availability and presentation. Supervisory duties include the safe and efficient operation of the Workshop, controlling plant and equipment quality, service and repair throughput, costs and records, Engineer training, and customer technical response activities.

Hands-on mechanical skills, strong knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, mechanical and electrical plant required. Previous supervisory experience and a pump or plant hire background highly desirable.

A Pump Service Engineer is required for routine and remedial on site maintenance of hired pumps, both submersible and diesel powered.

Applicants must have electrical and mechancical skills, plus previous experience of service and maintenance of rental plant and diesel engines, with some on-site experience. Experience of high volume pumps would be preferred, although training will be provided.
