Head of Food Production Quality & Assurance Your responsibilities: Improve and develop our HACCP system and food safety procedures based on UK BRC legislation. Ensure all food safety due diligence and legal requirements are met fully. Coach and develop the Quality Assurance Assistants. Carry out specific Swab Analysis testing and Microbiology testing. Ensure that all staff are trained on Food safety and relevant refresher training. Undertake weekly quality assessments reports, internal audit reports, external bi-annual supplier audits, monitoring and advising departments on recommended course of actions. Develop and manage appropriate technical KPIs. Investigate and follow-through non-compliance, incidents and customer complaints. Prepare micro schedules for existing and new products, organize samples including shelf life testing. Communicate results and investigations to all relevant parties with recommended course of actions. Candidate profile: BSc Food Science and/or MSc Food Safety and Control Management. HACCP & Hygiene Certification and BRC accreditation. Computer literate and good data management skills. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Implementation of cost cutting measures for food & beverage and labour cost where required. Analysing and solution driven action planning for all departments and ad-hoc projects.
