Our client is looking for a CNC / Manual Machinist Assessor to join their team based in Corby, Northamptonshire. You will be able to complete paperwork / other tasks from the Corby office but you will be required to travel to meet with learners in their workplace or at other workshops / classroom environments throughout Northamptonshire. This will mainly be within an approximate 50 mile radius from the Corby office. It is preferred that candidates hold a TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32 / D33 Assessing qualification, although this is not essential as for the right candidate the company are willing to provide the necessary support and training in order for you to start a career as an Assessor. The essential criteria is that you have a strong background and experience of engineering processes, milling, turning, CNC or manual machining etc in order to deliver the required Apprenticeship framework. Ideally you will also hold a relevant Level 3 qualification. The role will be split between training and assessment of candidates. You will have a caseload of 35 - 40 learners. Functional Skills delivery is preferred. This will be Functional Skills Maths and English. You will provide support to the learners with this as it is part of the Apprenticeship framework so you should have a good level of Maths and English. For qualified Assessors this position ideally requires experience of classroom and workshop delivery of sector skilled based qualifications with an emphasis on team working in a target-orientated environment. Purpose of Position - To share with other staff in meeting the personal care needs of service users in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. - To help in the care of the safe users' physical environment and in the general day to day activities of the home. - To take delegated responsibilities in the charge of the care users under your care, to the appropriate level. Principle Responsibilities - To fully comply with all quality standards and fully meet the needs of each individual. - Assist care users who need help with dressing, undressing, bathing and toilet. - Help care users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities such as incontinence; help in care and use of aids and personal equipment. - Help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of care users through talking to them, sharing with them in activities such as reading writing, hobbies and recreations. - Make and change beds; tidy rooms and do light cleaning. - Inspect, launder and mend care users' clothing. - Prepare and serve meals; assist care users at meal times if required; wash up utensils and reorder provisions when required. - Answer emergency bells, the door and the telephone; greet visitors warmly and professionally. - Read and write reports in case notes - Take part in staff and residents' meetings and also in training activities as required. The 50 bed home utilises a residential floor, specialist dementia care unit and bespoke nursing unit. In addition, there are ample spaces inside and out to enjoy companionship and privacy. Training You will receive regular on the job training and support from the employer and the Apprenticeship Training will be provided by Totton College. This will include: - NVQ Level 2 intermediate Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care - Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT if required - Employment Rights and Responsibilities The expected duration for the Apprenticeship training is 12 months. This role will involve assessing Health and Social Care Apprenticeships in Adult / Elderly Care and will also include delivering Functional Skills at level 2 and Technical Certificates. You must have previous experience of working in a Health and Social Care role. Applicants that have experience of elderly, adult care or adult nursing would be best suited to this position. Supervisory / management experience in adult / elderly care setting would be preferred. If you hold a PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed or PGCE certificate then this could be beneficial although not essential. This is a work based learning role so you will be travelling across Surrey to meet with learners in their own place of work. An average caseload is 40 - 45 learners. You will be required to keep learners motivated and on track throughout the duration of their Apprenticeship. This will involve setting them tasks to complete when you are not there, carrying out observations on the work they are completing and gathering witness testimonials and statements from other colleagues and staff. Initial Assessments and basic skills tests will be carried out when signing learners on to the Apprenticeship programme. As you will be going to different places of employment, you will be required to build good relationships with the Managers and staff of the places that you are visiting. B2B Engage is currently recruiting for a Telesales Apprentice to join their team in Islington, London. You don't need to have any previous experience of working in an office or in a Sales / Telesales role as full training and support is provided by B2B Engage and one of their Assessors. This is a Telesales Apprenticeship job opportunity so you will be working towards an Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship qualification in Telesales. Our client is looking for a qualified or unqualified CNC Machinist Assessor to join their team based in Corby, Northamptonshire. You will be able to complete paperwork / other tasks from the Corby office but you will be required to travel to meet with learners in their workplace or at other workshops / classroom environments throughout Northamptonshire. This will mainly be within an approximate 50 mile radius from the Corby office. It is preferred that candidates hold a TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32 / D33 Assessing qualification, although this is not essential as for the right candidate the company are willing to provide the necessary support and training in order for you to start a career as an Assessor. The essential criteria is that you have a strong background and experience of engineering processes, milling, turning, CNC, machining etc in order to deliver the required Apprenticeship framework. Ideally you will also hold a relevant Level 3 qualification. The role will be split between training and assessment of candidates. You will have a caseload of 35 - 40 learners. Functional Skills delivery is preferred. This will be Functional Skills Maths and English. You will provide support to the learners with this as it is part of the Apprenticeship framework so you should have a good level of Maths and English. For qualified Assessors this position ideally requires experience of classroom and workshop delivery of sector skilled based qualifications with an emphasis on team working in a target-orientated environment. The company use paper based portfolios. Any offer of employment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check being successful. Post Title: CNC Machinist Assessor Location: Corby, Northamptonshire Hours: 37.5 hours per week. 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday. 8.30am - 4pm Friday. 30 minutes for lunch Holidays: 25 days per annum + bank holidays (Holiday will increase to 26 days in year 2, 27 days in year 3) Salary: £24,000 per annum + £4k per annum car allowance Benefits: 45p per mile mileage rate. After 12 months, the opportunity to join pension with contribution equivalent to 10% of salary made by the company. Opportunity to join Income Protection Scheme paid for by the company.
