If you hold a Certificate in Motor Studies and / or BTEC National Certificate in Engineering & Motor Vehicle Studies then this would be advantageous. You must have experience of working within the Automotive industry as you will be assessing and delivering vehicle technician training across various levels and disciplines as part of the College's curriculum. Our client is looking for a CNC / Manual Machinist Assessor to join their team based in Corby, Northamptonshire. This will mainly be within an approximate 50 mile radius from the Corby office. The essential criteria is that you have a strong background and experience of engineering processes, milling, turning, CNC or manual machining etc in order to deliver the required Apprenticeship framework. The company is looking for candidates who are highly target driven and self motivated. Previous phone based experience would be very advantageous. Within this role you will be managing applicants and applications for vacancies, speaking regularly with the applicants and account managers within the business and recording different information onto templates. The apprenticeship qualification training will be provided to you whilst working on the job and by an Assessor who will come out to the workplace, so that there will be no interruption into your working days and so that all time at the company can be fully utilised. Due to the location of the role it is not accessible by public transport. Suitable candidates will need to be able to travel to the site on another method of transportation. Minimum of 30 hours per week within office hours Salary: £150 per week The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £2.68 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training. Type: 12 month Apprenticeship training. The employer may offer a permanent role on successful completion of the Apprenticeship.
