DEPARTMENT: Equity Clearing Centre

JOB TITLE: Securities Lending & Borrowing � Analyst

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role will encompass all aspects of securities Lending and borrowing in a small but expanding department. Responsibilities will including:

� Pre matching and fails management of Lending and Borrowing transactions
� Monitoring and reporting of client short positions generating borrowing requirements
� Daily Collateral calculation, mark to marking
� Month end billing creation, reconciliation and payment
� Reconciliation of internal systems
� Reconciliation with external lender borrowers (through the use of PIRUM)
� Extensive liaison with trading desks.
� Procedural & control compliance with creation, review, and update of procedures where necessary
� Corporate Event management

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

� Previous experience in one of the functions of Securities Lending and Borrowing
� Must be able to address issues in a confident, controlled & logical manner
� Must have good interpersonal skills with an ability to work closely with internal/external parties
� Good time management skills
� Must be able to work under own initiative and take ownership for processes and tasks
� Must be able to adopt and develop processes
� Must be results orientated
