Description		Nursery Nurse My Nursery Montessori Day Nursery is looking for an NVQ 3/4 qualified Nursery Nurse with knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage to join the team. The purpose of the post is: � To ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the Nursery � To give support to other personnel within the Nursery. � To implement the daily routine in the base room. Duties will include: � Formulate and operate a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your area in conjunction with the Manager. � Undertake certain domestic jobs within the Nursery, e.g. preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment and such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined from time to time by the manager. � Ensure good standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times and be responsible for the Health and Safety standards appropriate for the needs of young children. � Work with parents of special needs children to achieve full integration in the Nursery. � Liaise with and support parents and other family members. � Support all staff and engage in a good staff team. � Be involved in out of working hour�s activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, open days, cleansing of equipment. A combination of the Montessori philosophy and the Early Years Foundation Stage develops the "whole child".
