Description		Head of E-learning/Learning Technology Spain �65,000 - �80,000 based on experience Our client, a prestigious international provider of education is seeking an experienced, innovative and knowledgeable specialist in the field of e-learning / online education to develop and execute an online learning strategy to support educational objectives. Overall purpose of the role The purpose of this role is to manage the development of an online educational strategy, working with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to define and deliver the very best online learning resources available. The ideal candidate will have a solid and demonstrable track record in the field of e-learning and knowledge and experienced in the production of online educational resources ideally with a global focus. The successful candidate will be influential and factually knowledgeable about all aspects of online learning and new and emerging learning technologies. As leader of a team the candidate will have the knowledge, experience and passion for learning necessary to inspire and drive strategy. Candidates are likely to come from a consulting, academic institution (business School) or corporate background. Knowledge and Experience: Essential  Specialist in the field of online learning  Proven experience of producing engaging educational resources  Understanding of Instructional Design principles  In-depth understanding of trends, technologies and applications of e-learning  Excellent communication skills  Professional presentation skills  Strong IT skills  Good attention to detail  Ability to perform well under pressure  Cultural awareness  Excellent Management skills  Genuine desire to live and work in Continental Europe Desirable  Experience of working in a global capacity  Knowledge of Business Education  Excellent English, potential knowledge of another language/s Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:  Defining the strategic direction of online learning technologies and content.  Developing educational resources and online activities for the organisation in line with the educational strategy.  Researching and recommending new and emerging technologies.  Managing a team of individuals to execute strategy.
