Senior Software Developer - A rapidly growing worldwide communications provider, seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to bring development in house.
Our client is a a market leading provider of mission critical business communication solutions to over 2000 businesses worldwide; from Business Continuity and Emergency Planning applications through to Corporate Communication systems.
Job Description � Senior Software Developer will be responsible for enhancing the current web proposition and taking it forward, with new developments and additions to current systems and functionality.
The successful Software Developer will become an integral part of the development team, reporting directly to the IT Director and will focus on evolving the architecture and implementation of our worldwide communications services. You will be expected to assist in recruiting and mentoring junior staff, liaise with other departments and generating ideas for new developments as well as respond quickly and accurately to customer driven development requests.
The candidate should have experience working on large and busy multi location, transactional, high availability websites, and have very strong object orientated programming background.
In order to apply you should have proven web application development skills within a blue chip corporate environment.
C#, ASP.Net, VB.Net, Postgres, CSS, ASP.Net Ajax libraries and modern JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery are required.
A knowledge of the Linux Telephony Kernel API and specifically Asterisk is highly desirable,
Required skills:

The ability to deliver within tight time scales and work under pressure.
Desirable skills:
Linux telephony, Asterisk, pager, sms, e-mail and blackberry pin protocols.
