Development Manager C#.Net – Watford �50k

Development Manager with knowledge of C# web development is required by an expanding company based near Watford. Candidates can expect a salary of up to �50,000.

The purpose of the role is to create project delivery timeframes and assemble teams, monitor milestones and deliverables throughout the software development process, striving towards successful implementation.

Duties

• Manage team of 5 developers.
• Create software delivery estimate for each project and assemble team accordingly
• Continually monitor the progress of software projects and resolve complex issues
• Work closely with the IT Manager and other department managers to ensure the smooth running of the IT infrastructure, avoiding conflicts in scheduling, resources or technical issues.
• Focus on the scalability of multiple, concurrent software projects.
• Accountable for meeting product development goals and productivity targets.

Key skills

• Senior development experience with proven track record of driving and defining complex IT development.
• Ability to communication complex IT concepts and strategic planning to non technical colleagues and directors.
• Strong C# Development skills
• Ability to negotiate with 3rd party software suppliers to achieve company goals
• Solid experience managing software budgets and software development teams, including recruitment.
