Description

On behalf of a large blue chip client we are looking for an IT Manager with an in depth understanding of WMS remote data capture, warehouse automation and the “black box technology” utilised to provide seamless interfaces. This is a challenging role which requires a number of skills including project management, priority setting, systems integration and strategic development.

Previous experience of working with SAP WM is essential as you will be responsible for ensuring that the IT infrastructure of this business is able to service business growth and ever increasing complexity as new products are introduced. This is a very high volume FMCG business which generates large data files of transactions which need to be managed effectively within the performance capacity of the hardware platform. You will need excellent project management skills, the ability to effectively communicate the current and future status of system enhancements, the ability to prioritise enhancement and system fix requests and the ability to communicate complex change and development plans to the user group in an easy to digest format. You will be responsible for a team of 10 IT professionals and the site IT budget in this service critical environment.
