My client is a significant producer of aggregates, ready mixed concrete and asphalt in the Midlands supplying the building and road construction industries with a comprehensive range of materials.
We are seeking a graduate management trainee to work at quarries based in Derbyshire. The graduate trainee scheme takes two years to complete and you can expect to spend 3-4 months in each discipline (e.g sales, finance, technical). You will also have the opportunity to work within manufacturing (e.g quarrying, road surfacing and processing).

As part of the scheme you will receive a structured training plan and will be given a number of specific projects to work on throughout the two year period giving you the opportunity to transfer your academic skills into the workplace.

The Development Programme will enable you to develop skills within your chosen speciality or career and aims to continually build on your Team working and interpersonal skills through the given assignments. You will have regular performance reviews every three months, enabling you to take responsibility for driving your career forward.

We will support you throughout the programme by carefully mentoring your development; in return we are seeking an intelligent, driven, entrepreneurial graduate to help develop our business.

We are looking for graduates with a degree who are enthusiastic and willing to learn, strong interpersonal skills are also essential, plus a UK driving licence.
