Experienced Project Manager sought for a company who has rapidly established themselves as the UK’s leading engineering service provider to the Nuclear industry following the merger of three top flight project management and design consultancies. The Project Manager is required to enhance their capabilities which span the industry’s life-cycle requirements for high-integrity materials handling, process plant and control systems engineering for a variety of solutions including commercial nuclear operating/production facilities, fuel routes and handling, and waste and nuclear materials handling.
The primary purpose of this role is to lead a multi-disciplined project team in order to safely control and deliver projects to timescale, budget, quality and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be either a Chartered Engineer or be working towards Chartered status with experience of project management within a heavy industry, preferably Nuclear. Ideally you will have a formal qualification in a relevant discipline, with a background delivering capital equipment projects, ideally with experience of Mechanical/Materials handling systems. Motivated and driven, you will have excellent man management, communication and interpersonal skills, and will work well on own initiative.
