MARINE ENGINEER – OFFSHORE INDUSTRY
WRS are very pleased to be working in conjunction with one of the leading contractors in the Offshore Industry.
We are currently looking for a Marine Engineer to join their Engineering division, based in France.
If successful you will be reporting in to the Naval/Marine Department Manager and your key responsibilities will be to analyze, determine and specify the Marine Engineering requirements and considerations applicable to the Company’s products and proposals and advise on appropriate equipment.
You will also design efficient Marine systems and equipment which can be realized safely and economically and produce, organize and coordinate the production of Marine System deliverables, calculation reports, PFDs, P&IDs, Specifications.
On a day to day basis tasks will include:
Designing and reviewing designs of Marine Systems of the Company's products in compliance with Corporate Engineering Standards.
Identifying and writing specifications for the Marine Systems aspects applicable to the
Company's products.
Performing design sizing calculations of Marine Systems components and using the appropriate software for analyses, calculations and design aids.
Designing Marine System PFDs and P&IDs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Marine Engineering, Process
Engineering)
