Synopsis: Business Development Sales Consultant to convert sales leads into business and ongoing to account manage the business. You will need a proven track record of selling complex service solutions in the business to business arena. Experience of selling HR services or dealing with HR managers / directors would be beneficial. Our client is a specialist HR Consultancy combining expertise in business psychology and behavioural change to provide end-to-end strategic HR solutions. You will be a professional sales / business development executive with a track record of achievement in new business and account management. A business manager with expertise in selling knowledge based services to private sector business, not-for-profit and public sectors. Experienced in B2B sales, selling bespoke complex solutions specifically HR services would be a huge adavantage to corporate and public sector clients. C£40k basic ote £60k plus. Business Development Consultant Sales
Main Job Purpose
Generate profitable sales against target through effective lead management, personal prospecting activity and client relationship management.
Main Accountabilities
Contribute to the management of the companys Sales Opportunity Management (SOM) system using SalesLogix, as agreed with the Business Development Manager Sales.
Follow-up and generate sales leads in accordance with the Sales Opportunity Management system.
Design and execute personal sales campaigns aimed at our target market sectors.
Convert sales leads into profitable business.
Assume the role of Account Manager for nominated clients.
Act as Commercial Manager for specified product/service streams as agreed with the Business Development Director.
Provide CRM enabling support to Consultants in accordance with agreed procedures.
Participate in and follow-up exhibitions, conferences and other events ensuring that personal contributions are focused on adding value.
Interrogate SalesLogix reports to monitor specified aspects of sales activity and results.
Evaluate sales activities against agreed objectives.
Provide reports to the Business Development Director and other colleagues as required.
The Role:
Reporting to the Business Development Manager
Proactively design and execute sales initiatives to target sectors in order to achieve agreed personal target
Manage specified client accounts
Develop and manage long term client relationships
Participate in marketing events and campaigns
Provide expert commercial/sales support to Operations colleagues

Graduate qualification
Proven track record of selling complex consulting or service solutions
