Our client in London is a market leading energy consultancy delivering water and utility services to professional energy buyers across the UK and Europe.
The Lead Relationship Manager on average will be responsible for servicing between 45-55 client accounts and they will be expected to conduct visits with customers as well as providing telephone support. The Lead Relationship Manager is not expected to be out of the office more than 1 day a week.
The main function of this postion is to identify, manager and exceed the customers expectations at all times.
Core duties include:
- Overall Portfolio Control to increase business, create referrals, new business and business growth.
- Identify & implement new services and products ensuring successful delivery and implementation of products.
- Help customers negotiate their utility contacts by interpreting the commodity markets, provide budget setting analysis and forecasts.
- Visiting Business Critical and Crucial Accounts - only up to 2-4 visits per month.(80% office based 20% visiting clients).
- Proactively contacting customers by telephone regularly, solving any queries and relationship building.
- Expanding commercial knowledge, reporting and forecasting.
- Soft selling additional services to clients.
- Administration by logging customer contact, updating systems, although varied deemed to be 50% of the job.
Hours 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 5:00pm Friday.
EXPERIENCE & SKILL SET (WATER & UTILITY MANAGEMENT BACKGROUND)
•Demonstrated portfolio management in a Senior Relationship Management role
•Proven experience of resolving high level customer and commercial issues
•Proven knowledge and experience of working in a target led environment
•Recognised leadership skills in a professional environment
•Ability to demonstrate market, risk management and technical knowledge to a high level of understanding
•Experienced in dealing with fixed, fund and flexible purchasing
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Experience of producing and presenting client proposals
•Ability to relate to IT systems well
•Experience of delivering and forecasting’s company KPI’s
•Excellent and confident telephone manner
