Description		A well respected and performing NHS Trust based in Birmingham are currently recruiting for a Moving and Handling People Training Officer to start immediately on a provisional 4 week contract. A recognised moving and handling qualification such as IOSH or ROSPA is essential for this position, and a recent CRB check is also strongly desirable. An NHS background is desirable however experience of working within the care industry will be sufficient. The role will mainly involve training new hospital recruits on moving and handling patients within the hospital, including using hoists to lift patients, transferring conscious and unconscious patients into wheelchairs and beds, and how to handled injured people. The role is very hands on and will be mainly classroom based and require you to give active demonstrations to trainees, requiring a creative and innovative approach.
