Part Qualified Financial Accountant

My client is an independent Marketing Agency based in London who are actively looking for a Financial Accountant to support the Financial Controller. The role of the financial accountant is to accurately process financial and non-financial information to trial balance and provide day to day assistance to the Financial Controller. The role is to support the smooth running of both the sales and purchase ledger and cash management.

Duties include:

Reconciliation of all nominal ledger accounts

Bank & intercompany reconciliations

Month end duties including Accruals & Prepayments journals

Preparation of the monthly management accounts to the trial balance stage

Responsible for the full sales ledger cycle

Credit control management including ensuring all invoices are paid within the agreed credit terms

All aspects of the reporting process including cash flow forecasting; variance analysis reporting

Assisting the FC with various ad hoc reporting & project duties.

The ideal candidate will be studying towards CIMA/ACCA and have previous sales & purchase ledger experience, including multi-currency experience, also a solid understanding of double entry and accounting theories. Strong Excel skills are essential for this role
