The position for Accounts Assistant in Rotherham is no longer available
My client is a fast growing SME Business based in Rotherham. Continuing on with their success, they now require an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to assist in the day to day running of the accounts department and perform credit control/ sales ledger duties as the main part of the role.
With the ability to quickly and efficiently take control of a busy ledger, you will have the experience required to carry out the following:-
- Credit control duties for several hundred accounts
- Reconcile several bank accounts
- Post incoming payments to the sales ledger
- Update cash sheets
- Process refunds through the accounting system
- Cash flow Forecasting
- Assisting with the month end accounting process
- Effectively resolve queries on the ledger
- Other ad-hoc finance duties within the department
You will have at least 2-3 years experience working in accounts as well as Credit Control and be competent with administration in a busy office.
