Mortgage Advisor - Self Employed

Established financial services company has an opening for a CEMAP qualified Mortgage Advisor to join them on a self employed basis. The company is a member of a financial services network offering advice on mortgages, debt management, payment protection insurance and other general insurance products. They will offer ongoing training and a supply of live leads. Excellent opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Advisor who is ready to branch out on their own but would still like the support of being part of a network.

Duties will involve:

*Managing an existing portfolio of customers through account management and providing a high level of customer service
*Advising customers on a wide range of financial products, through understanding their needs and thoroughly research the market for the best provider to meet their requirements
*Developing new business through following up on leads and visiting customers to discuss the service that you can provide
*Completing all necessary paperwork and complying with industry compliance requirements
*Completing ongoing training on industry changes and new products to broaden the services that you can offer customers.

The company offers an attractive commission scheme and will pay for your indemnity insurance, charges for joining the network and subscription charges for industry regulatory organizations. They will provide office space, a plentiful supply of warm leads and in the long term administrative support with also be available. You will need to have your own transport, laptop and printer.

Skills required: full CEMAP qualification and previous mortgage advising experience. You will believe in providing a high level of service to customers and also have strong relationship building skills. Excellent attention to detail, strong administrative ability and a hungry, driven approach are essential.

Earning potential: this is a self employed role. Year 1 realistic earnings are likely to be around 20,000 - 25,000 and this will increase in year 2 once you are established to 30,000 plus.
