Data Analyst

Data Analyst, Surrey. up to £30k plus excellent benefits and bonus.

Superb opportunity has been created within this leading insurer for an individual to assist with Analysing fraud data received from various internal and external sources.
You will produce extensive reports, presenting your findings to the team, making recommendations on those findings, advising and monitoring trends.
Evaluating, developing and implementing solutions which support anti-fraud strategy. Play a key role in the development of the fraud strategy.
Assist with the development of a single repository for all data used for fraud prevention and detection.
Play a key role in setting up and implementing changes o improve team performance and collation of data.

My client is looking for someone who can demonstrate;

A thorough, pro-active approach.
An inquisitive mind, constantly questioning data and scrutinising information.
Preferably with some fraud experience ideally within insurance although not essential.
Essential that you have very strong analytical skills and experience.
Must have strong Excel and ideally SAS and Access.
Experienced with VBA and writing macros.
You'll have a keen eye for detail, be highly organised with an analytical and suspicious mind.
Strong communicator both verbally and written, ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Team player with a confident, flexible and adaptable approach.
