Salary: Approx £24,000 Per Annum
Term: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Shift work - 6:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-5:30pm and 10:00pm-7:30am (these shifts are rota based)

Experienced Automotive HGV Technician Required in York.

Our client, a successful group of Commercial Dealers in the York area are currently looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician for their busy branch.

They ideally would like someone with strong electrics experience but will consider just an experienced HGV Technician.

Maintenance Work:
* Performance of all maintenance services according to the manufacturer's instructions and according to the maintenance schedule/Service processor
* All visual inspections, adjustment operations, adjustments, operating fluid changes and additions, replacement of worn equipment (e.g. brake linings)
* Resetting of the maintenance system
* Cleaning and care of the customer vehicle

Repair Work:
* Responsible for repairing and servicing of vehicles booked into the workshop.
* Diagnosing faults on vehicles.
* Carrying out warranty repairs to manufacturers guidelines
* Stripping fitting and replacing components on vehicles.
* Dealing with customer queries
* Ensuring that all jobs are running smoothly and deadlines are met.

This vacancy is based in York and our client is looking only for experienced HGV Technician applicants.

Previous and recent experience as a HGV Technician is essential.

Good electrics experience is desired.

Motor Trade experience is essential.
