Mechanical Design Engineer
We are currently seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join an expanding team in the design and development of high precision machinery. Candidates must have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and should have relevant experience in a design environment. Our clients products encompass a range of electrical and pneumatic systems, PLC’s, sensors and controllers so exposure to these, and their integration into the mechanical product design will be advantageous. Candidates should also have a knowledge of CE certification, in particular the Machinery Safety Directive.
Applicants must be highly proficient in 3D CAD design, preferably Pro/Engineer and be able to demonstrate project engineering abilities. Due to the nature of the products candidates must be able to work in multi-disciplined project teams and as such must show excellent communication skills. Applying candidates must be able to work to strict deadlines and must have the motivation and the determination to drive their projects forward.
