Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - £ 29,000 - £31000 + benefits - Hampshire.

A large Food manufacturing organisation based in Hampshire are looking for an experienced Multi skilled Electrical Bias Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team.

The core function of the Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer role will be to monitor daily work including fault diagnosis, conducting repairs and carrying out preventative maintenance activity. You will ensure the area is operating to standards set by the Maintenance Manager. Work with management to tie down causes of downtime and suggest process improvements.

You will be driving continuous improvements ideas focusing on reducing downtime and waste. Working with production, and reducing breakdown to factory machinery (Metal dectors, conveyors, check weighers, bagging machines, washing tanks.)

The successful Multi skilled Engineer will be experienced in both electrical and mechanical engineering, with a control bias being essential - experience working within the food industry is essential.

The ideal candidate must be educated to HND, City & Guilds or Level 3 in Mechanical and Electrical engineering with a good knowledge of PLC control systems.
