Buyer

My client is looking for a Buyer to work in Redhill, Surrey on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the daily sourcing, negotiation and procurement of requirements associated to design, production, operational and business needs.

Ideally anyone that has worked in the Mechanical & Mechanical sectors or Engineering/IT industries
would be an advantage.

You will be working closely with the Production and Stores, Installation, engineering, IT, H&S and Finance.

The role will consist of the following duties:

Prepare and Issue Purchase Orders
Procure materials, equipment, spare parts and services in a cost effective manner
Ensure T&C’s are adhered to when purchasing
Prepare and Issue invitations to tender
Developing and Managing bulk supply agreements

Qualifications required: Degree or MCIPS Qualified.

You will be given support on the clients systems and practises of work to ensure you carry out your tasks efficiently.

This position is long term and requires someone to start ASAP.
