Excellent position available for a mechanical design engineer working for a leading manufacturer that offers excellent training and the chance to progress into a senior position.

Great opportunity to join an experienced and dedicated design team that offers technically interesting design work where you will develop project from conceptual stage through to completion.

You will be introduced to the company where you will be responsible for the concept to completion design of pumps supplied across the globe. Your remit will cover; Customer drawings; GA's, cross sections, schematics. Component manufacturing drawings; castings, machined and fabricated parts, Bills of materials and Basic Design Calculations

The role;

*Mechanical design engineer
*Conceptual design to completion
*Bills of materials
*Basic Design Calculations
*Offers the chance to work aboard if interested
*Training and progression available

The Person:

*Mechanical design engineer
*Experienced in mechanical design
*Minimum HNC level in a technical subject (Mechanical, Manufacturing or General Engineering)
*AutoCAD and/or ProE experience
* Ideally some 'hands dirty' hobby e.g. car / motorcycle maintenance
*Looking for training and progression opportunities
