A leading Manufacturer of connection systems for the Mil-Aero and Industrial markets is looking to recruit a Design Engineer to design and introduce products in to production.

The Role: Design Engineer

* Producing 3D models, assemblies and production drawings for new products, including designing assembly tooling
* Ensure the design is fit for production and is a repeatable, sustainable product
* Design, develop and introduce new products
* Ensure the product meets the customer and market requirements both technically and within costing limits

Skills / Qualifications / Expereince : Design Engineer

* Engineering design qualification to HNC/HND level or equivalent
* Engineering design and manufacturing experience, ideally in a connector or assembly type industry
* Design engineering experience within the Electrical Interconnection market - desirable
* Manufacturing Instruction and Process Instruction experience
* Knowledge of design engineering tools and techniques
* Knowledge of materials selection tools and techniques
* Knowledge and experience of CAD
* Experience of MRP, Creo and Microsoft Project
* Experience of FMEA
