Product Development Engineer

OSR Recruitment Services Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a leading global manufacturing and engineering company for a Product Development Engineer

The main purpose of the role will be to support the Senior Engineer on all matters relating to the function of existing or proposed products in a section of the Company's product range.

As part of the introduction team you will be offered the chance to design and engineer all aspects of their products through from market concept to product launch and support. Your skills will ensure that my client are able to bring the innovations to their product range, subsequently meeting and exceeding customer requirements

Responsibilities:

To produce CAD designs enabling the manufacturing of new products
Control the issue status of 3D data and drawings
Work closely with third parties to resolve queries and problems with design proposals and related tooling
To ensure all development activities and test equipment are operated in accordance with H&S practice
Requirements:

Hons Degree (or equivalent) with Mechanical Engineering content
2D drawings compliant with international standards and 3D CAD modelling skills
Previous experience within a design and/or development role in relevant high volume consumer goods industry
The successful applicant will have a practical and hands on approach with excellent interpersonal skills and a self motivated attitude. You will be methodical and innovative alongside being a strong team player
