Maintenance Engineer / Electrical / Allen Bradley / S5 & S7

Location: Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, Dudley, Stourbridge, Stafford

Salary £29,000 per annum, 25 days holiday, 3% pension contribution

The Role

As part of the production team, the Maintenance Engineer (Multi Skilled) is responsible for ensuring facilities are maintained in line with business requirements, and within budgeted targets. The technician will be part of a flexible Operations team and perform other tasks when required to ensure effective business performance

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure daily Facility efficiency targets are met through correct performance monitoring, and effective repair of facilities.
Ensure all facilities meet current Health & safety standards.
Ensure production facility is set up to correct parameters.
Ensure maintenance spares are available to minimise MTTR.
Responsible training production operators to carry out TPM activities.
Compile facility history logs.
Complete Preventative and Reliability centred maintenance schedules as required

Characteristics and Requirements

Experience of maintenance within a high volume environment is essential, preferably with experience of automated Body assembly processes.
Qualified to at least ONC level in Mechanical & Electrical studies is desirable.
Experience of PLC logic and robotics essential
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is essential
Ability to work the required shift patterns
PC skills are desirable for this position.
Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Be able to work as part of a multi functional team
The possession of a clean driving licence would be an advantage
