Projects Manager - Infrastructure

PROJECT MANAGER – INFRASTRUCTURE, DATACENTRE DEPLOYMENT, CITRIX, STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT, PRINCE 2, APMP, PMP, LONDON (CITY), £ 420 PER DAY, 6 MONTHS + EXTENSIONS.

Based in London this Solutions Consultancy is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in managing global infrastructure deployment projects including datacenter builds/relocations and Citrix deployments. The key responsibilities for the Project Manager will include the following:

• The global deployment and rollout of a datacentre infrastructure in support of a major global standardisation programme to Citrix

Successful candidates will have experience of the following:

• An in-depth knowledge of project management and a history of applying it successfully on a variety of IT projects
• Experienced in managing pure infrastructure deployment projects including datacentre builds/relocations and Citrix deployment
• Experienced in working for large Blue Chip company’s
• Extensive IT Project Management experience which must include full project responsibility from business case to project closure
• Experienced in managing infrastructure deployment projects including Citrix
• Stakeholder management
• Professional qualifications (Prince 2, APMP, PMP)

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:-

- A "can do" attitude to deliver in a project environment to very tight timescales
- Managing projects, people, controlling finances and producing business cases
- Established experience in working within large and complex teams
- Excellent communications and presentation skills and experience of working at senior levels within organisations

Based in the City this is an initial 6 month contract but there will be extensions
