IT Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Project Manager based at our Client's Glasgow site to provide hands on project management support to facilitate the harmonisation of North and South systems, ultimately providing a unified working process with regards to planning and time and attendance.

Travel between sites will be expected from the successful candidate.

As a Project Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

The responsibilities will include maintenance of the project plan, co-ordinating and monitoring the activities required to deliver the project and reporting project progress, cost, risk, opportunities and issues to senior management and stakeholders. You must have:

*Experience with Data Migration projects
*Experience with time and attendance systems ideally open options
*Experience of building T&A systems
*ERP experience (enterprise resource planning)
*Ideal candidate will hit the ground running, the role will require some travel
*The Project is in the middle of 2 UAT's of testing.

As an IT Project Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

A qualification and experience in the use of a formal project management method e.g. Prince 2

Experience of managing, or taking a leading role in managing, large IS system implementation projects
Project planning
Risk, opportunity and issue management
Knowledge of application development lifecycles
Knowledge of COTS implementation lifecycles
Knowledge of IT technologies
Knowledge of IS systems and application architectures
Experience of assessing the quality of 3rd party IS/IT proposals
Negotiating conditions of delivery
Stakeholder Management
Excellent communication and presentation skills
