Software Engineer / Developer

Software Engineer required!!!! I am looking for an experienced Software Engineer with experience of developing systems in C/C++, to work on a number of new and existing projects, based in Derby.

The Role:

This role will involve developing software for production use and includes the following duties.

• Undertaking high level software development.
• Follow software specifications and carry out code modifications and corrections following testing.
• Perform software testing.
• Produce technical documents.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of developing software in C language / C++, experience with MySQL, Linux and PHP is also highly desirable but the experience in developing in C language is the most important thing.

Education to degree level in Computer Science or a related discipline is an advantage but not essential if experience is extensive.

Additionally, the right candidate must be a good communicator, possess excellent problem solving skills and be a team player.
