Technical Infrastructure Project Manager now required! Our client is a leader in their field and due to continued business expansion they now require an Infrastructure Project Manager.

The Role

As the Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for running and implementing multiple, multi-faceted Infrastructure network projects whilst leading cross-functional teams, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, managing stakeholders at all levels with full budget responsibility. As part of the project management team you will also have an understanding of the software development lifecycle - ideally having exposure to web from an infrastructure point of view.

The Person

The ideal person should have solid technical project management experience, having moved into project management from a technical role. You will have a proven track record delivering network and infrastructure based projects end to end, strong stakeholder management skills up to director level.

With a keen eye for detail, excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently you will be looking to further your project management career within a challenging and fast paced environment. Any knowledge of Citrix, Cisco technologies, load balancers, servers, network security, firewalls and SAN is highly beneficial as is exposure to Prince 2 or similar.

Any experience of working within either an online environment or financial services high availability environment having delivered complex large scale infrastructure projects including VMWare, Data Centres, Storage etc.
