Warehouse Team Leader

My client is looking for a team leader to support the Warehouse & Planning manager in delivering deliver excellent internal and external customer service in all warehouse activities/requirements on a daily and weekly basis. The role will also support the Warehouse & Planning manager in his/her objective of developing a culture of continuous improvement across all warehouse KPIS that include CSL/SHE/Quality. To provide management cover in the absence of the Warehouse &planning manager.

●To lead and motivate a team of 2 (1 Loading Goods out, 1 goods in)

●To deliver on time and in full internal and external customer stock and materials movements on a daily /weekly basis

●Liaise with customers and respond to queries

●Forecast raw material collections

●Liaise with internal departments within the company

●Ordering of consumables

● User for the in-house Warehouse IT system to control the movement of stock

● To be responsible for all KPIS relating to Warehouse Services.

●To be flexible when required to reach business demand ie: Load and unloading vehicles.

● To assist in the development and training of team members, and updating the training matrix.

●To attend/lead daily direction setting meetings
