Description

We are recruiting for a Reseller Sales Manager based in London but covering the UK.

The basic salary for this role is negotiable depending on experience but the OTE would be circa £70,000 per annum + Car & Benefits.

You would be working for a large global provider of audio visual products with a turnover of circa $1bn.

Summary of Role

The position will be tasked with the delivery of the company goals and objectives through the effective management and development of existing business partners and the recruitment of new resellers.

Essential Duties

*Attainment of key business goals and objectives such as revenue, market share and growth
*Selective targeting of new strategic customers across vertical markets to meet the territory objectives.
*Develop and implement innovative account based annual and quarterly sales and marketing plans. Review marketing investments and ROI, with general supervision and responsibility for the investment of ADF funds.
*Assist the Country Manager in the assignment of ADF budget and manage third party resources to maximise ROI
*Develop a methodology to plan and track profitability down to the account level.
*Create and implement effective business plans within focussed account to deliver agreed growth targets
*Work alongside internal stakeholders in order to deliver first class account management and customer service
*Support the sales management team and additional levels of upper management by assisting in reviewing and/or modifying existing policies/procedures, strategies and tactics, improving communication with all levels of the organization, undertaking specific tasks and objectives that may be assigned from time to time.
*Effectively implement all corporate programs and initiatives.
*Work with Product marketing and Supply chain management to optimize product plans and availability (specs etc..) with market opportunities
*Attend trade shows, conduct seminars, participate in reseller sales events, conduct product training and prepare and deliver executive level presentations as required.
*Continuously monitor competitor and market activity and provide accurate information and recommendations to the Country Manager and Product Management in order to optimise opportunities
*Visit customers on a regular basis to provide the correct levels of direct customer contact
*Provide a fast friendly and efficient response to the demands of the defined customer base
*Maintain the quality and image of the company by providing a level of service and support that ensures total customer satisfaction.
*Provide both sales and product training to customers as required.
*Provide information to customers, both verbal and written, on the current product range and pricing and, where appropriate, future products.
*Obtain accurate stock, sales and forecast information from key customers.
*Submit accurate sales forecasts by product on a regular basis to the Country Manager.
*Provide a weekly report to the Country Manager, outlining current activities, achievements and immediate objectives.

Skills Required
*5 years experience in selling high technology electronic products with a deep understanding of the IT industry
*The ideal candidate would have worked for an IT vendor, ideally in the monitor, pc or projector sectors and have a proven track record or sales to DMR, IT and AV resellers
*Excellent client facing ability and able to establish effective and profitable relationships at all levels
*Commercial understanding of running a profitable channel relationship is key
*Insightful, empathic, entrepreneurial and with and with excellent all-round business acumen
*Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills are essential
