Position: Senior Sales (B2B)

Location: Bideford

Salary: £24k to £28k DOE

Our client is a not-for-profit organisation working mainly in the tourism sector. They currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join them in a key position, that will include managing a small telesales team. This position requires excellent business to business sales skills coupled with the ability to promote new products and develop strong relationships with key local businesses and organisations….

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for the telesales team and will also be required to carry out a wide range of tasks including:
• Agree sales targets with the Commercial Director for a range of products, developing the rate card and the sales strategy
• Briefing, monitoring, evaluating and responsible for delivering sales team performance
• Work with other senior managers to bring new products and services to market
• Maintain and “relationship manage” a list of Key Accounts
• Develop and secure sponsorship packages and funding for events, award schemes and activities as required
• Develop new commercial arrangements with third parties to extend the B2B offering of the Company
• Grow the membership of the Company and provide membership and business support as required
• Develop personal contacts (network) with all appropriate external referral and partner organisations
• To represent North Devon+ in a professional and business-like manner at a wide variety of partnerships and at meetings, seminars, conferences and other functions, as appropriate
• Develop, manage and monitor key performance indicators for the sales team
• Other duties which from time to time may be necessary
• Work as an integral team member of the company

The right person will have…

• Strong experience of working in a B2B sales environment
• Experience of bringing new products and services to market
• Experience of working with and managing staff
• Experience of developing income generating activities and securing sponsorship
• Evidence of understanding in planning and costing projects.
• Experience in supporting businesses or running own business
• Capability in effective use of ICT, including word-processing, spreadsheets and databases
• Ability to use the internet for research purposes
• Demonstrable experience as a facilitator
• Good presentation skills
• Ability to prioritise conflicting demands and meet agreed timescales
• Self-motivation/ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to set targets for sales team and motivate the team
