Field Sales Engineer (Electronics)

A Field Sales Engineer with Electronics experience is sought by a successful electronics company to work from their Edinburgh office.

Working for a market leading company you will work closely with both OEM and End User accounts to develop an established customer base and understand customer's requirements and sell the best solution using business development skills and a hands on approach to engineering to solve customers' applications to enable the company to build mutually profitable business with new and existing customers

The successful candidate will have a background in electronics/ electrical instrumentation as an Engineers, preferably in an Applications, Technical Support, Commissioning or Internal Sales role who has moved into or wants to move wanted to move into sales or Sales Engineers who have recently started their sales career.

You will ideally educated to at least ONC/HND standard, and possess a sound electrical knowledge, preferably enhanced through the practical application of electronic instrumentation in industrial automation.

The successful candidate will ideally reside within a 1 hour radius of Edinburgh as you will need to be in the office at least 1 day a week.

The role comes with a competitive salary, uncapped commission and bonus scheme. Benefit package includes 28 days holiday and fully expensed executive car, pension and healthcare

Candidates must hold a full driving licence.
