PHP Front-End Web Developer

Our client is a fully integrated agency based in Hertfordshire (only 20 minutes from Kings Cross!)

They are medium sized (30 staff), privately owned and have been going for 16 years with continuous success.
Their main clients are within the hospitality sector with others in Education and construction.
50-60% of what they do is now digital, including websites, landing pages, microsites, Banner creation and E-Marketing and they are looking for a Front-End Digital Developer to work across these kinds of projects.

Description of role:

Mid-weight PHP Front-end developer with +3 year’s experience of developing in Drupal or similar (Wordpress etc), working with both new and extending modules.

The right person will also have experience of building sites in HTML5, using responsive design techniques.

Addition requirements include:
• Good MySQL, javascript, jQuery and Ajax skills would be preferred but is not essential
• Likewise experience of integrating with third party systems, including payment providers, ticketing systems and recruitment / vacancy sites would also be beneficial

The right candidate will have the ability to work individually or lead a small team of developers.

The ideal candidate will also work with the account and project management teams to scope and deliver the best technical solutions for clients.

The future:

The role has the potential to grow in to a senior management (Head of Digital) for the right candidate.
