Pre-Sales Product Specialist (LIMS)

Excellent prospects for future promotion to Product Management for the right candidate with technical knowledge of LIMS (a software-based laboratory and information management system). This is a brand new role, providing a great opportunity to shape the role to produce tangible business results.

Key responsibilities will include:
Providing technical support to sales teams in the UK and internationally
Taking ownership of demonstration systems
Client visits with Sales professionals
Contributing technical input to Marketing, including technical notes, assisting with press releases and newsletters etc.
Providing technical information to customers, both via telephone and face to face
Attending seminars and exhibitions, both in the UK and overseas
Providing internal training and coaching as required
Contributing creative ideas for new products and potential business opportunities.

The successful candidate will probably either already be experienced as a LIMS Pre-Sales / Technical Specialist or with currently work in a Laboratory in a Systems Analyst role using a LIMS system. He or she will be free to undertake both UK and International travel should this be required and will demonstrate friendly and professional interpersonal and client-facing skills.
