C£25000 + excellent benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading UK supplier of medical equipment for a qualified Technical support/helpdesk engineer.
Key responsibilities:
•Handle internal and external calls efficiently, in a professional manner achieving department minimum standards at all times and log all technical queries
•Identify, develop and implement improvements to the Technical Support Helpdesk ensuring all Technical Support staff are kept up to date and fully trained
•Testing products with regards to any issues that may require further investigation
•Preparation of all training materials ensuring that the latest version documents are included, equipment tested and working, contact with customer is made prior to delivery of training
•Provide technical training for new engineers within the department and train existing staff on product changes and new products introduced
•Booking in of customers devices for service, repair and investigation using the department’s process and procedure
Experience & qualifications
HNC Electrical & Electronic Engineering or working towards qualification
Experience in delivering technical training
The Ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently and have a real commitment to providing great customer service.
