Project Engineer

Leading defence company urgently require a contract Project Engineer for an initial six month contract based in Bedfordshire.

Reporting to the Lead Project Engineer the candidate will be expected to take responsibility for the day to day liaison between all programme stakeholders, from Systems Engineering through to Manufacturing.

Please note, candidate must at minimum hold SC clearance, preferably have DV. If holding SC candidate must be willing to undergo DV process.

Required Skills
Experience of Project Engineering in similar environment or area that demands similar skills.
Experience in the use of both Business Management Systems and Product Data Management Systems.
Strong verbal communicator.
Strong report writing capability.
Strong organistional skills with evidence of formal project reviews co-ordinated and supported.

Desired skills
Working knowledge of SAP Business Management System (or similar).
Working knowledge of Windchill Product Data Management System (or similar).
Working knowledge of engineering data pack construction, includiing detailed engineering drawings.
Engineering knowledge gained through military business sector, or simialr (eg automotive).
