Administration Team Leader
To work within a successful and fast paced alliance project delivering gas mains replacement works throughout the East Midlands.
As an Administration Team Leader, you will be required to manage a team of administrators in meeting goals relating to the timely capture and entry of information coupled with meeting high data quality and accuracy standards.
Key Aims and Objectives
• To deliver updates to the client's asset repository meeting deadlines and achieving high levels of data accuracy .
• To foster a collaborative style of working and nuture a positive team spirit
Prime Responsibilities and Duties
• Supervise a high performing team ensuring works are performed efficiently
• Provide support to the wider Administration Team to support the alliance in delivering its core requirements
• Allocate work to a team of Administrators reporting directly to the Administration Team Leader
• Seek full utilisation of available resources across varied work patterns
• Regularly review data capture and entry processes ensuring they are well defined and being followed
• Implement improvements to data capture processes as required
• Extract and create management information reports to the Alliance Management Team as required so key decisions can be made
• Work collaboratively with other department leads within the alliance and with other key interfaces working outside the alliance
• Seek out and identify route causes for failures
• Develop and implement actions to remove failures
• Ensure that direct reports are trained and competent in their roles
• Create and implement development plans for direct reports
• Work to the business HR Policies and Procedures in terms of dealing with sickness, absence, performance and disciplinary issues
• Represent the alliance as required in internal and external meetings
Key Competencies & Skills
• A demonstratable level of experience in the leading of technical and administrative teams in delivering to tight timescales and high degrees of accuracy is required
• A demonstratable level of experience is the organisation and prioritisation of tasks using appropriate tools and resources is required
• Medium levels of proficiency are sought in Microsoft Excel and Word
