Finance Controller

We are looking for a Billing and Finance Controller to undertake billing and to control purchasing, credit and stock control to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism, in order to ensure costs are controlled and income is collected in a timely manner

The Role:

*To collate and analyse billing data from suppliers in order to check pricing is in line with individual customer contracts.
*To use specific telecoms software in order to produce accurate and timely invoices for customers.
*To liaise with suppliers in order to ensure billing errors are addressed in a timely manner and to ensure that credits are obtained promptly.
*To control all aspects of the direct debit process, from setting up new direct debits, processing changes, carrying out regular direct debit runs accurately and in a timely fashion.
*To undertake regular credit checks and to monitor credit worthiness of all suppliers and customers in order to safeguard against bad debt.
*To undertake a variety of credit control activities to ensure customers pay what is owed on time wherever possible.
*To process dealer commission statements on a monthly basis in order to ensure accurate information is supplied in a timely manner.
*To manage all stock purchases, supplier accounts and the purchase order process in order to ensure they are accurately recorded and that stock levels are maintained.
*To process all stock returns in order to ensure they are carried out in a timely manner and to ensure suppliers credit notes are obtained.
*To check supplier invoices against purchase orders and to code the invoices in line with the Company's nominal coding structure, in order to ensure accuracy and that payment can be made within payment run schedules.

The ideal candidate will have experience with in a similar role along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyse large amounts of Data. The ability to use Excel is essential.
