Our client are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager to lead to team of commercial staff in the west midlands. They specialize in projects from Social Housing, Care Home sector, Commercial, through to Major public sector projects. They are one of the largest businesses in UK and have built a business on their strong reputation for repeat business by delivering successful projects that are built on time and to budget.

The Commercial Manager Role:

Reporting to director level, you will be responsible for budgeting, monthly reporting, approving sub-contractor orders and payments and the supervision of the estimating and tendering process. This is a commercial manages role with all the responsibilities that go with the title. You will be required to manage and develop your team, ensuring projects are completed successfully. Your primary focus will be to demonstrate leadership to other surveyors in your team whilst coming up with best practice ideals.

Candidates will have a proven track record in Surveying within the Main Contracting Sector of the Construction Industry. You should have gained a good level of management experience, and possess strong commercial and contractual acumen. You may well be a commercial manager at the moment or a senior surveyor who is looking for their next career move.
