Maintenance Engineer

Working for a leading manufacturer, this is an opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer with supervisory experience.

Leading your team of maintenance engineers, you will be responsible for planning and carrying out planned maintenance whilst leading improvement activities to further improve manufacturing processes and systems. You are likely to be a time served apprentice with good mechanical or electrical qualifications (PLC experience would also be useful) and have experience of leading a team of engineers on a rotating shift. Whilst leading your team, you may also be doing hands on maintenance yourself.

You will ideally have worked within food manufacturing, fmcg, highly automated or packaging type environments and be looking for a new challenge with a leading company who offer excellent benefits and opportunities.

This role would suit either a maintenance supervisor, leading chargehand, maintenance team leader or lead engineer looking to further develop your career. Also, this role may suit engineers who have installed, commissioned and maintained similar equipment and are looking for a static role.
