We have a great opportunity for a Buyer to join our client based in Telford. Our client, a specialist on-line retailer operating a range of speciality stores on behalf of leading brands, are looking for intelligent, numerate, well-organised, process-driven and analytical graduates to be at the forefront of their business, leading fast-moving category development.

Key Responsibilities

Working as the Buyer you will be improving revenue and gross margin through product sourcing, range implementation, and pricing. You will also be involved in;

Day-to-day management of the relevant categories, including:
*weekly performance reporting
*continuous range development
*planning and implementing seasonal and tactical promotions
*managing stock turn, stock levels and clearance activity
*proposing product purchase prices and quantities

Ensuring all required product data is obtained from suppliers, and that products are correctly loaded onto our systems and represented on our websites

Conducting regular competitor analysis of key online retailers in relevant categories and responding appropriately
Launching new categories as required.

Managing supplier relationships.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or will hold an equivalent level qualification in a relevant discipline and will have previous buying experience. You will be a strong negotiator; you will form excellent professional relationships and be action focussed with a track record of delivering extraordinary results.

We welcome candidates with all levels of experience, experienced Buyers will preferably have a retail background, you will be closely involved in all admin and data-processing aspects of the buying process.
